Abstract

In the present study, an aim was to identify adrug-likecandidate for the plant Crinum Solapurense( Amaryllidaceae).The Lycorine, an alkaloid that could be a potential candidate which can interact and inhibits the cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2) generated protein 5KIR and relieves pain and inflammation.Total 18 compounds were analyzed through, Autodock vina. The docking value was observed in the range of -9.4 to −10.3 kcal·mol⁻¹. No other article and review have been reported for the molecular docking study for the plant Crinum Solapurense.Moreover, there have been some articles of plants belonging to the family Amaryllidaceae.
